Description: This course examines accounts of visions, comparing medieval and modern visionary techniques and processes and relating visionary writings to cultural and personal contexts. Includes some Christian theology along with other theoretical frameworks, but emphasis on praxis. Graduate work includes 10 additional readings (200 pp), double the pages to be written, 30 more minutes presentation time. Cross-list: RELI 444, MDEM 444. Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for RELI 644 if student has credit for RELI 444.
