Description: Sustainable development is an approach to development based on interacting social, economic, and environmental forces. It is intended as methodology for planning, and a guiding principle for Environmental Health and safety compliance (EHSs) and Corporate Sustainability (CSRs). Students will learn compliance guidelines, risk management, and assessment considerations. Cross-list: BIOS 280. Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for BIOS 580 if student has credit for BIOS 280.
