Description: Basics of wireline logging and logging while drilling including borehole environment, resistivity, radiation, thermal, and elastic wave measurements and measuring tools. Building from this introduction, basic interpretation of logging data and formation evaluation will be studied. Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for ESCI 636 if student has credit for ESCI 436.
