Description: A seminar on biblical poetry. The Psalms have constituted a book of study, devotion, and prayer for Jews and Christians for two millennia. This course explores the psalms’ poetic force, liturgical setting in ancient Israel, theology, and enduring significance today. Counts for the Minor in Jewish Studies.
