Description: This course covers general separation principles by equilibrium, diffusion and convective mass transport. Topics covered mass transport, distillation, solid-liquid and liquid-liquid extraction, crystallization, absorption, adsorption, stripping and membrane processes. Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for CHBE 515 if student has credit for CHBE 415.
