Description: The performance of vocal and instrumental music of the Renaissance and Baroque eras in which instrumentalists use period instruments. Specific repertory will depend on student interest and on the availability of instruments. The class entails two hours of evening rehearsal each week and an end-of-semester recital of music prepared. On occasion this course may require weekend rehearsals and performances. Consult the instructor regarding possible conflicts. Cross-list: MDEM 456. Repeatable for Credit.
