Description: Introduction to Islamic empires of the early modern Muslim world: Ottoman, Safavid, and Mughal. Focus on art, architecture, literature, religion, kingship, family, which shape the cultural heritage of the Muslim world today. Opportunity to study works of art produced in these imperial workshops at MFAH.
