Description: Existence and uniqueness for solutions of ordinary differential equations and difference equations, linear systems, nonlinear systems, stability, periodic solutions, bifurcation theory. Theory and theoretical examples are complemented by computational, model driven examples from biological and physical sciences. Recommended Prerequisite(s): CAAM 210 AND MATH 212 AND (CAAM 335 OR MATH 355) AND (MATH 302 OR MATH 321).
