Description: Introduction to distributed computer systems. The course covers concepts, architecture, algorithms, protocols, and implementation, focusing on distribution, scale, robustness in the face of failure, and security. Additional coursework required beyond the UG course requirements. Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for COMP 532 if student has credit for COMP 420.
