Description: Structural biology plays an important role in defining atomic structures of biomolecules and understanding relationships between structure, dynamics and function in living systems. This course will give an introduction to techniques of determining biomolecular structures, X-ray crystallography, NMR, and cryoelectron microscopy and discuss striking examples of the power of structural biology. Cross-list: BIOC 552. Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for BIOC 482 if student has credit for BIOC 552.
