Description: How did Christianity emerge as a new religious movement in the Roman Empire? Covers the history and literature of the first five generations of Christians (10 BCE - 190 CE), focusing on Post-Temple developments, issues of authority and leadership, rise of regional forms of Christianity, and formation of distinct Christian identities.
