Description: This three credit lecture course introduces students to a complex, dynamic and sensitive ecosystem: coral reefs. We will explore the biotic and abiotic components of coral reefs; how reef organisms interact with each other and the environment, and the factors that contribute to reef construction and decline over time and space. Cross-list: EBIO 372. Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for EBIO 572 if student has credit for EBIO 372.
