Description: This writing-intensive seminar examines evidence for the use of nutritional supplements in promoting health. Topics include the role of supplements in medicine; the biology of illnesses such as cancer, depression, and autoimmunity; and the molecular mechanisms of supplements in prevention and management of these illnesses. Appropriate for all majors.
