Description: This short course will cover the following topics: Fundamentals of electrochemistry and principles of electrochemical energy conversion and storage. Electrolyte and electrode materials characterization by electrochemical techniques such as cyclic voltammetry (CV) and impedance spectroscopy (IS). Complete cell (supercapacitors and batteries) studies by CV, IS and charge/discharge characterization. This will be a 1-credit hour course. Repeatable for Credit.
