Description: Continuation of SPAN 142. Development of interactional competence in Spanish (sociolinguistic and socio cultural knowledge) to communicate and interact with speakers of Spanish. The course is based on a student-centered, critical-thinking approach to language analysis/acquisition. Recommended Prerequisite(s): SPAN 102 or SPAN 142 or Placement Test. Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for SPAN 263 if student has credit for SPAN 201/SPAN 225.
