Description: "Crisis of modernity" refers to the challenges presented to daily human (and nonhuman) life by global networks, increased population, accelerated urban existence, and industrial advances. We'll discuss formal and rhetorical approaches, analyzing major works of cultural expression and critique responding to a troubled sense of existence.
