Description: Practical course for those interested in learning about the playing, and culture of mariachi music. In this course students will be prepared to understand mariachi music's impact in society, as well as gain enough experience to join a real mariachi band. This course is taught by Rice University's Mariachi Luna Llena president Itzak Hinojosa.
