Description: A seminar-style course that reads and examines Richardson's 1500 page novel from a range of critical perspectives. Topics considered will include gender; economics; history of the novel; history of marriage; and philosophical perspectives on literature. Cross-list: ENGL 432. Repeatable for Credit.
