Description: This course is the first of a two-part series for preservice teachers. It offers a reflective study of classroom practice through sixty (60) hours of observation in secondary schools and teaching activities under the guidance of cooperating teachers and education team members in an actual classroom setting. This course includes opportunities to structure lessons for diverse student populations with whole group and small group lessons. This course is required for certification. Cross-list: EDUC 521. Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for EDUC 421 if student has credit for EDUC 521. Repeatable for Credit.
