Description: Capstone course for the business minor. Examines the strategic management of businesses in market and non-market environments. Key topics include competitive and industry analysis, strategic formulation and implementation, and strategic planning. Case discussions of real companies are combined with readings concerning the key topics. Space is limited. Registration does not guarantee a space in class. The Jones School will conduct a lottery for over-enrolled classes to create the course roster for the semester. The Jones School will communicate the results within a week after the close of the registration period. Prerequisite Requirement: Three (3) BUSI courses. Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for BUSI 390 if student has credit for BUSI 471. Repeatable for Credit.
