Description: This class explores representations of the city in 20th and 21st century world cinema. Central concerns will include the city as cinematic protagonist, parallels between urban and cinematic space and the intertwined histories of both film and urban design over the last century. Cross-list: ASIA 355, FILM 336. Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for HART 336 if student has credit for HART 536.
