Description: An examination of key issues in queer theory that links those issues to other major literary and cultural theories of the past quarter century. As such the course will also serve as an introduction to psychoanalytic theory, postculturalism, deconstruction, postcolonial theory, film studies and recent work on the relationship between science and literature.
