Description: Explores exhibition practices at play in Houston's contemporary art scene, considering the various methods and strategies employed by area museums, galleries and public collections. Examines the shifting relationship between artist, institution, curator, and critic-writer, paying a particular attention to the role of the curator as a mediator of art.
