Description: Fundamentals of the hydrologic cycle, meteorology, rainfall-runoff, flood routing, urban system design, and open channel flow are covered. Topics in ground water flow and well mechanics are also included. Applications include computational hydrology, floodplain analysis, watershed behavior, and low impact development. Group presentations are required. Cross-list: CEVE 509. Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for CEVE 412 if student has credit for CEVE 509.
