Description: PhD students in the Rice Chemistry Department give annual seminars on their research. The CHEM 220 course is a mechanism for undergraduate students to participate as an audience member in these seminars. The course provides unique access to gain insight into the workings of a PhD program. Students will see a lot of the chemistry research done on campus, and this broad background can be invaluable for those investigating possible research directions for their undergraduate research.
