Description: This course examines the relationships between art and cinema in Latin America, providing an overview of key artists, movements, and films from Argentina, Brazil, Cuba, and Mexico from 1960 to present. Sessions include weekly film screenings and focus on research and discussions about topics including globalization, mass media, reception, and the social, economic, and political contexts around artistic production.
