Description: The purpose of this course is to provide an overview of the science behind the technological advancements of the near future as well as a forum for discussion of their impacts on our lives. Topics such as genetic engineering, nanotechnology, brain-machine interface, artificial intelligence, and mind-uploading will be covered.
