Description: Development of sociolinguistic and sociocultural knowledge in Japanese to communicate and interact with speakers of Japanese at a low-intermediate level of competence. The course is based on a student-centered, critical-thinking approach to language analysis/acquisition. Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for JAPA 263 if student has credit for JAPA 201.
