Description: Introduction to the principles of trace-element and isotope geochemistry and their applications to high and low temperature processes in the earth. Topics to be covered are trace-element partitioning, basic quantum physics, radiogenic isotopic systems and stable isotope fractionation. Recommended Prerequisite(s): ESCI 322.
