Description: The course looks at selected aspects of American culture and society from an anthropological point of view. Readings derive from the works of both foreign and native observers, past and present. Cross-list: ANTH 547. Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for ANTH 347 if student has credit for ANTH 547.
