Description: Reviews fundamentals of phase and chemical equalibria thermodynamics focusing on the application of experimental and advanced modeling techniques to characterize reservoir fluids and predict their phase behavior and thermo-physical properties. Intended for students who wish to develop expertise on PVT modeling and gain understanding of common petroleum flow assurance problems. Cross-list: CHBE 550.
