Description: The purpose of this course is to prepare students to begin developing the skills, knowledge, and motivations needed to become an engineering leader. Learning methods for the class include assessments of current leadership skills, skill-learning via lectures and discussions, skill-practice and feedback via experiential exercises, and skill development via self-directed action planning. Major deliverables for the class include an autobiographical paper, an engineering leadership portfolio, and a leadership development plan.
