Description: This discussion-style course will dive into the roots of the U.S. comedy and its eventual culmination with the hit late-night sketch comedy show, Saturday Night Live. We will also examine SNL’s cultural impact and comedic technique. As a part of the course, students will write and perform their own sketches.
