Description: Course will explore the topic of fanaticism and fandom in futbol, or soccer, through examining various nations. Throughout the semester, we will review the history of fandom in soccer, highlight several different supporter groups, and evaluate the social and cultural implications of these supporter groups. Prior knowledge of soccer is not necessary for this class.
