Description: This seminar will look at concrete's role as a facilitator of the conceptual and theoretical agendas of the architecture of the 20th century. Just as the Domino system enabled a new architecture at the beginning of the century, the current interests in topological and non-treated form are again arguing for concrete's unique properties. Cross-list: ARCH 658. Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for ARCH 358 if student has credit for ARCH 658.
