Description: This semester's Special Topics course introduces students to the linguistic, cognitive, and social aspects of braille. Students will gain a basic understanding and appreciation of braille, its relevance to the reading sciences (and vice versa), and a thorough grounding in the research literature. Students will also have a chance to help design experiments and studies for future research. Repeatable for Credit.
