Description: What features of family life are marked by race? This course examines the question and gauges whether differences are a matter of culture or do they reflect issues of structure (or access to opportunities) and what are the implications for race/ethnic inequality? Topics include racial socialization and ethnic identity. Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for SOCI 502 if student has credit for SOCI 402.
