Description: How do entrepreneurs identify opportunities, marshal resources, and rapidly launch businesses? This course will address these topics through case studies of real entrepreneurs and "lab" work as students launch their own businesses in teams. Special attention will be paid to social entrepreneurship and commercialization of academic IP. Graduate students taking this course will have extra reading assignments on entrepreneurship research and turn in a comprehensive paper at the end of the semester.
