Description: What does cognitive science and linguistics have to do with religion and being religious? This seminar explores religious practices, beliefs and texts from the perspective of the burgeoning field of cognitive studies. Case studies will be focused on biblical and parabiblical texts. Write 10,000 word research paper, serve as discussion leader component in addition to the roundup reviews.
