Description: With the privatization of the Shanghai Film Group, and the Oscar win for British-Indian co-production Slumdog Millionaire, film production between Asian and Euro-American companies is on the rise. Using the tools of media industries analysis, this course gives students the opportunity to understand dynamic new cultures of production. Cross-list: ASIA 439.
