Description: This course explores the relationship between women's lives, gender ideologies, and international and domestic politics and economics. We will examine women's experiences with and resistance to the sexual division of labor, imperialism, capitalism, consumerism, domestic service, war, slavery, and migration across different geographical and historical contexts.
