Description: This course deconstructs the physician identity. What norms and roles define physicians as a social group? How does physician socialization occur in medical training? What is a doctor's responsibility towards patients and society? Topics include medical education, culture of medicine, bedside manner, medical ethics, social medicine, and digital health.
