Description: This course appropriates the curriculum of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry into a semester at Rice University. Through discussion, hands-on interaction, and creative projects, students will gain perspective on the parallels between Harry's world and ours. This course will cover the cultural implications and the reasons behind Potter-mania.
