Description: Students will learn how statistics are used to evaluate all aspects of baseball. Topics include player performance (hitting, pitching, fielding, and base running), to in-game strategies, to how sabermetric research is used by teams. We will delve into the role of economics in sabermetrics and how to begin new research.
