Description: Within the last couple of decades, there has been a surge of popularity with Korean culture referred to as the "Korean Wave" or Hallyu. Looking at pop culture, primarily K-pop, K-dramas, and Korean variety shows, students will explore different aspects of the Hallyu, entertainment industries, and the impacts the Hallyu nationally and globally.
