Description: This course is for future teachers. It focuses on developing units of instruction in the content area and on developing a classroom climate that provides for strong student-centered, academic work. The course offers multiple methods for developing and implementing curriculum with diverse students. Student assessment for content understanding and skill development is stressed. Required for certification. Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for EDUC 466 if student has credit for EDUC 566. Repeatable for Credit.
