Description: This course will place human rights in various contexts, including legal, political, cultural, religious, and historical. Students will learn about different mechanisms for protecting human rights (institutions as well as activism) and delve into specific human rights areas such as women's rights, human trafficking, climate change, etc. All majors welcome.
