Description: This course is a further accelerated investigation of spoken Cantonese in practical applications. The course will first review fundamental vocabulary and grammatical concepts. Then, more complex topics and scenarios will be covered, with a focus on conversation-based vocabulary. The last section of the course will be discussion-based to reinforce material taught in the course. Students will also be exposed to elements of contemporary Cantonese culture, including pop culture, film, and current linguistic change.
