Description: Examines a series of topics in religious discourse, particularly in Judaism and Christianity, that advocate violence. Readings include case studies as sell as theoretical considerations. Seminar consists of three parts: pre-modern Judaism; per-modern Christianity; some contemporary examples. This course is eligible for credit toward the major in Religious Studies.
