Description: This course will explore the history and strategy of board games of a variety of genres ranging from word games to pattern-based games to card games. Each week, we will look at a different game and discuss the components of what makes it a successfully designed game, and the different strategy models. At the end of the course, based on strategic concepts learned throughout the course, students will create their own strategy-based board game.
